Governing Language, Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This page explains the governing language of our rental terms, the applicable law and the courts responsible for rental-related disputes.

The Japanese version of these terms, the rental agreement, fee schedule, protection conditions and all related policies published by the company shall constitute the governing version. English, Portuguese, Chinese and other translations are provided to assist customers in understanding the applicable terms.

If any contradiction, discrepancy or difference in interpretation arises between a translated version and the Japanese version, the Japanese version and its interpretation shall prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The company endeavors to ensure that every translation accurately and faithfully reflects the Japanese version. If a clear translation error or material discrepancy is identified, the company will provide an appropriate explanation and correction.

These terms and the rental agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the Naha District Court or Naha Summary Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the rental agreement.
