In Case of a Traffic Accident

1. Stop the Vehicle and Ensure Safety

Stop the vehicle in a safe location as soon as possible. Check whether anyone is injured and avoid creating additional danger to yourself, passengers, other road users, or surrounding traffic.

Do not leave the scene without completing the necessary procedures.

4. Record the Accident Information

If it is safe to do so, collect and preserve information about the accident. This information may be required by SUNRISE RENTACAR, the police, the insurance company, or other parties handling the claim.

  • Take photographs of all vehicles involved.
  • Photograph the damaged areas from several angles.
  • Take photographs of the accident location and surrounding road conditions.
  • Record the other vehicle's registration number.

If the vehicle becomes unsafe or impossible to drive because of a mechanical problem, flat tire, warning light, battery problem, or other roadside trouble, stop in a safe location and contact SUNRISE RENTACAR before attempting repairs.
